Brashy T-Mobile has been uncharacteristically quiet about the launch of its new banking service, T-Mobile MONEY.
“Some banks rack up the fees,” the company’s site says. ” T-Mobile MONEY sets you free and puts money back in your pocket. We have no overdraft fees, no account fees, no maintenance fees, no minimum balances, and no fees at Allpoint ATMs.”
This isn’t the first time T-Mobile has taken a shot at the mobile money market, it launched a debit cars service in 2014, but it didn’t really take hold.
MONEY from T-Mobile offers a more traditional looking checking account, with interest rates up to 4 percent for qualified customers.
One more step in T-Mobile’s quest to overtake AT&T and Verizon.
