AT&T is barreling ahead with 5G and has just announced it has made a successful 5G data transfer on a new device planned for commercial release in 12 cities this year.
The new 5G device is from Netgear and it’s called the Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot and it was used to create what AT&T calls the world’s first millimeter wave mobile 5G browsing session with a standards-based device on a mobile 5G network.
