Imagine sleeping peacefully in your bed and waking up to the sound of a baby crying. But wait. YOU DON’T HAVE A BABY!
Whether it’s a baby, shattering glass, spooky ghost noises or even, Rick Astley songs (har!), hackers have found vulnerabilities in some Bose and Sonos speakers allowing them to hack in and operate them remotely.
The good news is that it’s not all speakers, just a few thousand Sonos and a few hundred Bose speakers, that are vulnerable to the hack, according to The Verge.
No word on whether any of these comedy geniuses are willing to come over and help you clean the pee off the floor after hearing random ghost noises in the middle of the night.
